Most of us have heard of the old adage that tells us to ‘stop and smell the roses’. It's important to stop and smell the roses sometimes. While this saying can be interpreted differently by different people, the general consensus believes that this old adage actually has some good advice hidden behind the literal idea of smelling roses. I think it'll be good to have a day each week where I just pause, breathe and appreciate the moment.
Jennifer Teo is a freelance Singapore-based artist and travel photojournalist. She seeks the extraordinary, but finds beauty in the everyday. She believes that life is endless display of places, people and things that one encounters along the way. She finds life is interesting and must capture it through photography or painting.
