Jacky Mak

Jacky (b. 1994)  is a Singapore-based mural artist who first picked up a brush in 2009 when he immediately realised he had to pursue painting for the rest of his life. Most well-known for his massive murals of vivid landscape scenes & animal portraits, he is deeply inspired by the original Impressionists & hopes to do them justice with his exploration of light, movement & expression. He is constantly looking for bigger walls to paint upon & share how he sees the world. With a Bachelors in Landscape Studies from the University of Hong Kong, he believes that understanding Nature in all of its complexity is half the battle won for his artwork. In his free time, Jacky loves running/kayaking/walking as far as he possibly can while gaining further insight into Mother Nature.
